I started this website because I feel as if I have a lot of ideas to share with the world. And there are people out there that would like to talk about some of these things. I have a lot of thoughts in my head about various topics and I think that people out there could benefit from what I have to say. I enjoy reading and thinking about self development, philosophy, technology, and ideas in general.

I enjoy talking with people from various professions about life in general. About how we think and why things are. I have enjoyed reading about theoretical physics and what scientists have to say about the future of technology. People who have served in the military have discussed with me interesting technology. It is always interesting to hear what people have to say about things whether they are telling a tall tell or not.

As a visitor of this website, I hope you enjoy what I have to say in blog posts about various topics. Send over some friends you might think are interested in these ideas. This website is also about integrating ideas and "problematizing" whether certain things are possible and probable or not. You can share your own ideas by commenting within any of the posts. The Internet is full of information why not fill in the gaps!

I found out how easy it is to find links to mp3 files on the Internet using Google. Simple search for "index of" and then the name of the song or album. I did a search for Enya to see if anyone had some mp3 files on their website of that. Searching for "index of Enya mp3" I found many results. I was able to download many of the Enya songs just from links found by Google.

Firefox has a plugin/addon called Foxy Tunes that can be downloaded. This program finds links to mp3 files on a page and displays a play symbol by them if they can be played. Foxy Tunes allows mp3 files to be played in firefox.

There is a website that uses Google to search for music use http://g2p.org/. This website will put the necessary info in the Google search. Just search for the song.

There are different interpretations of what philosophy is. The video gives a general explanation of what it is and why we use it. To me it is all about asking questions and trying to understand the world around us. Philosophy is also a state of mind or an idea. Everyone has different philosophies of how to live life. Philosophers seem to be obsessed with trying to find answers to questions.

To me, philosophy is about looking at the world from different perspectives. Its about admitting that you are wrong and trying to see different ways. You are only half right if you see that your concepts and ideas work. You still have to continue challenging things. Some people do not enjoy this subject because they do not enjoy thinking a whole lot. If this is the way that you see philosophy I am proud to say that that is your philosophy and opinion. But consider philosophy a great way to see the world in new was and to adopt new ways of life and see if they are more beneficial to you.

I find that philosophy is a debatable subject because not everybody agrees on one thing. Personally I believe there are eternal and universal truths. Some philosophers see truth and others see relativity. What is see is temporary truth and universal truth. You may say something that is true at that moment but ten minutes later it may be a lie. Many philosophers are also obsessed with finding truth wherever it may be. Many subjects such as science, math, and physics branch from philosophy because they are all interpretations of reality and they shed light on certain truths. Perhaps philosophy is best seen as a way to more fully understand things.

I think we study philosophy because it can help in our studies with other subjects. To adopt new ideas and to "think outside the box" is a gift. Many schools make the mistake of teaching students how to think a certain way. Critical thinking which is very much parallel to philosophy is a great think to have as it is grounded in reality. On the other hand too much critical thinking could be bad. That is why creativity and the fusion of two ideas is what imagination can offer. And is far more important than knowledge as Albert Einstein would say. Which is a philosophical statement that I think applies to all of us.
